How Day One Padel handles personal data: website visitors, people who use the platform, and the players whose data clubs hold on it.

Who we are
Day One Padel is a trading name of Alexander Benson, a sole trader, of Flat 11, Ilchester Court, Newbury RG14 7LN, United Kingdom. Contact: info@dayonepadel.com.

If you visit our website
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. If you write to us, we keep your message and contact details to reply and for up to two years in case you write again. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering you.
If you use the platform for your club
We hold your name, username, email, role and sign in history to give you access, keep the platform secure and support you. The lawful basis is our contract with your organisation and our legitimate interest in security.
We keep this while your account is open and for up to 12 months after, then delete it.
If you play at a club that uses the platform
Your club decides how your data is used and is responsible for it (the controller). We process it on the club's instructions (as processor) so the club can understand its performance and contact its players. This can include your name, contact details, level, bookings, payments, memberships and marketing preferences as held in the club's booking system.
Questions or requests about this data should go to your club. If you contact us, we will pass your request on and help the club answer it.
Opting out of messages sent through the platform removes you from the club's future lists.
Who we share it with
Only the providers listed in our Data Processing Agreement, who help us run the platform, under contracts that protect it. Some are in the United States; transfers are covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How we protect it
Encrypted connections, hashed passwords, encrypted booking system credentials, strict separation between organisations, and access limited to the people who need it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, its correction or deletion, a restriction or an objection to its use, and its transfer. Write to info@dayonepadel.com. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
